The return of Don Draper, a surprise death, and a shirtless Zac Efron had fans of Mad Men, Game of Thrones , and the MTV Movie Awards dominating Twitter last week, with the MTV Movie Awards topping the Nielsen Twitter TV Ratings list with 2.4 million event-related Tweets that were seen by a Unique Audience of 9.1 million people. Mad Men came in fourth on the list with 60,000 Tweets. As loved and respected as Game of Thrones and Mad Men are, the MTV Movie Awards inspired the most Tweets. We’ll see how Mad Men and Game of Thrones fare next week, without the threat of a Best Shirtless Performance moment.
