The nominations for the 67th annual Directors Guild of America Awards are in, and we have some newcomers on the block! Wes Anderson has received his first nomination from the DGA for
“The Grand Budapest Hotel” , which just took home the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical, which also happened to be his very first win from the award show! No stranger to the Directors Guild, Clint Eastwood has been nominated for “American Sniper”, which stars Bradley Cooper. This is his fourth award nomination, but he previously won the DGA Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film for “Million Dollar Baby” in 2004 and for “Unforgiven” in 1992.
