Kirk Cameron was the big “winner” at the 35th annual Razzies, or Golden Raspberry Awards, which “dis-honor” what are deemed the worst movies and performers of the previous year. At Saturday’s event, the Growing Pains alum and director received four awards, including Worst Picture, for his Christian family comedy film Kirk Cameron’s Saving Christmas, an independent flick that received mostly negative reviews and made $2 million at the U.S. box office.
He had competed against the big screen adaptation of Left Behind, a faith-themed action film about the aftermath of a rapture, which starred Nicolas Cage and is based on a series of novels. Cameron had starred in a TV movie of the same name.
Cameron Diaz won” one Razzie, Worst Actress, for performances in two 2014 comedies—The Other Woman and Sex Tape.
The annual ceremony has traditionally been held the day before the Oscars.
