5 Seconds of Summer fans are going to be pretty bummed over this news.
The Aussie boy band was forced to cancel their upcoming shows in the U.K. and Japan because band-mate Ashton Irwin is in the hospital after undergoing surgery for a case of appendicitis. The guys announced on their website,
“Hi guys, we have some news for you today. Ashton has come down with a case of appendicitis and had to have an operation. He’s doing great and will be back up & running in no time, but he’ll need to rest up for the next week or so.”
