It took two full releases, but this year’s Disney Infinity 3.0 will be “the Star Wars one.”
The starter pack is focused on the Clone Wars TV series, packing in figurines for Jedi Knights Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano.
Disney Infinity is for kids, after all, and the prequel timeline — specifically The Clone Wars — is a big deal to younger crowds.
Feedback from Lucasfilm is what kept the starter pack focus on the prequel trilogy timeline, and Clone Wars was the natural source material from there because of Infinity’s diverse audience.
