On Tuesday, Mashable confirmed that AC/DC, one of the few remaining artists who have refused to let fans stream their songs, will put their music catalog on Spotify.
The “Highway to Hell” rockers’ albums will notably appear globally on the same day that Apple launches its Spotify rival Apple Music. The longtime digital holdouts started allowing Apple to sell their albums only three years ago in 2012.
AC/DC’s music will reportedly also be available on Apple Music and Rdio. Mashable has reached out to both services for confirmation.
The Beatles, Garth Brooks, Radiohead’s Thom Yorke, Prince, Bob Seger, and of course, Taylor Swift are among the other artists who still aren’t available to stream on Spotify.
