Hotel Transylvania and Dracula’s (Adam Sandler) lavish five-stake resort are headed to TV. Sony Pictures has tapped Canadian cartoon producer Nelvana to produce an animated TV show based on the Sony Animation hit film. The small-screen adaptation will focus on the teenage years of Dracula’s daughter, Mavis, and her friends. An early 2017 TV airdate is planned. News of the TV adaptation comes ahead of the sequel Hotel Transylvania 2 hitting theaters on Sept. 25.
