Fox is cutting the party a little short. Sources confirm to E! News that American Idol, the network’s long-running reality juggernaut, will no longer be airing two shows a week. Following in the footsteps of So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing With the Stars, the reality singing competition will air one episode per week with the performance and results within the same show. Returning for the new season are judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr.., while former judge and season 13’s in-house mentor Randy Jackson announced he will not be back.
