Scotty McCreery was reportedly the victim of a robbery today. E! News says, the 20-year-old American Idol winner was robbed by gunmen during a home invasion that, according to a local ABC affiliate, happened in the early hours of Monday morning. The invasion happened at an apartment near North Carolina State University in Raleigh. McCreery addressed the events on his Facebook page, writing: “Yes, it was definitely a very scary night. Luckily, my friends and I are safe and the Raleigh PD is on the case.” According to a police report, “Shortly before 2 a.m. today, three unknown, armed suspects entered the residence and took various possessions including wallets, currency and electronic items from multiple victims before fleeing. There were no injuries.”
