Amy Poehler is reteaming with Ike Barinholtz for an untitled basketball comedy just picked up by Universal. Poehler will star and produce the comedy via her Paper Kite Productions banner. Scott Stuber is also producing. Barinholtz, for his part, will pen the script with writing partner David Stassen. Poehler will play a once-promising basketball coach who is asked to lead an NBA team under the gaze of a reluctant organization and the pressure of being “the first.” Poehler is coming off of Inside Out, Pixar’s acclaimed hit in which she voices the character Joy.
