Director Asif Kapadia says his film about Amy Winehouse was made with the intention of understanding why her life panned out the way it did, and to show the ‘real Amy’. The filmmaker says he hopes people may think about their own role in the late singer’s life. ‘Amy’ is in UK cinemas from July 3.
