The actress was presented with the award during a private audience with the Queen at Buckingham Palace. The Oscar winning actress’ humanitarian work runs parallel to her acting career – she is the co-founder of the Preventing Sexual Violence Initiative and is also special envoy of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.
