It’s the day many soap opera fans were absolutely dreading. After 28 years of playing Luke Spencer, actor Anthony Geary’s final episode on General Episode aired Monday afternoon.
While fans had almost three months to prepare for the emotional farewell, today’s episode still provided plenty of feels for loyal watchers of the Emmy winning series.
In the final hour, Luke made amends with his daughter Lulu (Emme Rylan) after confessing to mobster Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) that it felt right to leave Port Charles for good.
But after some digging, it appears fans are divided as to whether or not General Hospital delivered on Luke’s final episode.
