Two weeks after the sudden death of comedian Joan Rivers, the E! Network said they had plans to carry on her legacy by continuing to produce episodes of Fashion Police . The move even came with the blessing of daughter Melissa Rivers, who in her own statement thanked “Joan Rangers,” a term adopted by fans of the 81-year-old comedy legend. But three months into the new era of the Fashion Police , it’s become quite clear that there really shouldn’t have been a new era at all. The latest symbol of the walls crumbling? The exit of Kathy Griffin, who had been brought on to spearhead the new era but ended up presiding over just seven episodes.
