IDW Publishing has announced that it will publish comics based on the Back to the Future film trilogy. The series will be in collaboration with creator/screenwriter Bob Gale.
Gale said in a press release that it will be subtitled ‘Untold Tales and Alternate Timelines.’ For years, fans have asked questions about things that happened before the events of the trilogy, in between the events of the trilogy, or in the alternate realities. The artists on those stories will be Brent Schoonover and Burnham’s long-time collaborator Dan Schoening. Each subsequent issue will feature a rotating team of artists.
