To prepare for his role as Moses in “Exodus: Gods and Kings,” Christian Bale watched Monty Python’s “The Life of Brian” and Mel Brooks’ “History of the World, Part One.” The Oscar-winning actor found Moses a complicated man, and didn’t want his version of the biblical hero to be too haughty. The actor also suggests the religious icon could be considered a terrorist. “If you’re not religious, you can look at it as one man’s freedom fighter is another man’s terrorist,” he said.
