Ben Affleck and his wife Jennifer Garner attended the 2nd Annual Save The Children Illumination Gala presented by Johnson & Johnson at the Plaza Hotel in New York City last night. The couple both wore black, with Jennifer wearing a Calvin Klein midi-dress and Ben wearing a two-piece suit. The actress was on hand to support her director husband who was being honored at the gala alongside Tony Blair, Austin Hearst, and TJ Maxx. During his acceptance speech, Affleck insisted that Garner, who does U.S. based work for Save the Children, is not only a superior philanthropist, but also takes on “the lion’s share of responsibilities” when it comes to the couple’s home life.
