If 2003’s Daredevil movie makes you nervous about the prospect of Ben Affleck taking on the role of the Dark Knight in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, you might feel a little better knowing that Affleck himself shares your concern.
The actor made an admission during an appearance on NPR’s All Things Considered this weekend, saying “Indeed I have regrets about Daredevil,” “Look, if I thought we were remaking Daredevil, I’d be out there picketing myself,” he added. “I’m hard on myself and I have exacting standards and I want to do excellent work and I don’t always succeed, but I think you have to start out with that drive.”
