Video · Berlin: Geoffrey Rush To Paint Stanley Tucci’s ‘Final Portrait’

Oscar-winner Geoffrey Rush will take the lead as Swiss painter and sculptor Alberto Giacometti in Final Portrait, which will be introduced to buyers at the European Film Market. Stanley Tucci is set to direct in his first major feature as helmer since 2007’s Blind Date, working from his own script based on A Giacometti Portrait by the artist’s friend, the American critic James Lord. Gail Egan, Potboiler Productions, Ilann Girard, Fred Hogg and Olive Productions are producing, while HanWay will be taking the film to Berlin. CAA are repping for the U.S.
