Berlin is going to get it’s very own Critics’ Week. The German film critics association, together with the Heinrich Boll Foundation, has launched Critics’ Week Berlin, a series of screenings inspired by similar programs in the Cannes, Venice and Locarno festivals. Like their European counterparts, the Berlin Critics’ Week will not be an official part of the Berlin Film Festival but will run at the ame time. The inaugural Critics’ Week Berlin runs February 5 through12 and will feature 10 titles.
