Nothing says “Yuletide” like a disillusioned Bill Murray shrug. Netflix has acquired A Very Murray Christmas, a holiday special – and “homage to the classic variety show” – which stars the iconic actor, as himself, worrying that his TV show will be ruined by a terrible New York City snowstorm. But Netflix promises a happy ending in their brief plot summary: “Through luck and perseverance, guests arrive at the Carlyle hotel to help him; dancing and singing in holiday spirit.”
A Very Murray Christmas was directed by Sofia Coppola, co-written by Coppola, Murray and Mitch Glazer and executive produced by Coppola, Glazer, Roman Coppola and Tony Hernandez.
