The host of Billy on the Street appeared on Conan Wednesday, where he discussed how and why he became a T.Swift fan. Eichner explained, “There are so many disturbing, upsetting things happening in our world right now in our country, internationally, but Taylor Swift is writing about the most important topic, which is what happens when your boyfriend doesn’t text you back. And I think that’s so essential, Conan.” Ever the dedicated fan, Eichner revealed to Conan O’Brien that he actually penned a song that he thinks the “Out of the Woods” singer would record if she heard it. Unfortunately for the Parks and Recreation star, that hasn’t happened yet—c’mon, Taylor!—but that did leave the comedian an opportunity to record it himself. Conan was able to convince Eichner to perform his sure hit without much effort at all, giving fans the opportunity to see what he’s really made of!
