Country music’s top couple, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert, have announced their divorce.
The pair have been wed four years.
A joint statement issued by the couple’s representatives broke the sad news Monday.
The pair of platinum-recording stars came together as their careers were peaking, leading them to constantly deny rumors success affected their relationship.
Although they joked about competing against each other for awards, publicly they championed each other’s successes.
They last appeared in public together at the Academy of Country Music Awards in April.
