2005 was a great year. Blake Shelton rocked an insane mullet and Miranda Lambert was becoming a country star. Little did the world know that the two should meet onstage during the CMT 100 Greatest Duets concert, where they both sang “You’re the Reason God Made Oklahoma.” Blake-Miranda shippers know the story back and forth: Blake and Miranda sang that song, looked deep into each other’s eyes and fell in love at first sight. When the now-estranged couple embraces each other at the end of their performance in the 2005 video, they look like they were made for each other! Looking back it makes the moment even more special, but now we have to take a moment of silence to honor the sadly broken country music-singing power couple.
