Houston said of her 22-year-old niece, “Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition has continued to deteriorate.” Bobbi Kristina is the only child of singers Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston.
As previously reported, Bobbi Kristina has been under constant medical supervision since January, when she was found facedown and unresponsive in a tub at her home near Atlanta, Ga. Initially hospitalized in a medically induced coma at North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Ga., she was later moved to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. She was then transferred to an undisclosed rehabilitation facility in March.
Updates about her condition have been vague, but grandmother Cissy Houston said in May that she was “not progressing at all” in rehab.
