Pixar’s animated dive into the mind of an 11-year-old girl is headed for an estimated $65 million to $70 million opening weekend.
The critically acclaimed film from Pete Docter and Ronnie Del Carmen —sporting a 98 percent fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes — is expected to bring in $25 million to $27 million on Friday. It features the voices of Amy Poehler, Mindy Kaling and Phyllis Smith and centers on five emotions that run an 11-year-old girl’s mind.
