Fox and Marvel’s X-Men franchise has become a $3 billion baby. The latest outing in the superhero franchise, Bryan Singer ‘s X-Men: Days of Future Past , hit $702.2 million in global ticket sales on Tuesday, pushing the combined total gross of the seven films to $3.003 billion. Internationally, the franchise total is $1.7 billion, while the domestic cume is $1.3 billion. Days of Future Past , combining the casts of the the first X-Men installments and X-Men: First Class , has quickly become the top-grossing title in the series.
