50 Shades of Grey, Jurassic World, Fast and Furious and The Avengers have lead the Spanish box office to a 4.4 percent bump up in revenue in the first half of 2015 over the same period last year, grossing $275 million with 40 million tickets sold. “There’s a strong probability that we could close 2015 with $660 million in ticket sales,” which Rentrak Spain’s Arturo Guillen said would mark a rise over last year’s €518 million.
