Simon Cowell was greeted by fellow Britain’s Got Talent judge David Walliams playing the bagpipes as auditions for this year’s show got under way in Edinburgh. Dressed in a kilt, Walliams was the first judge to arrive at the city’s Festival Theatre where he met fans, posed for selfie photographs and signed autographs. He later delighted the crowds who were waiting in freezing temperatures when he emerged back outside with a set of bagpipes, followed by a pipe band. Cowell smiled and waved as his car pulled up to the theatre before jokingly pulling at Walliams’s kilt as hundreds of fans of the show let out a big cheer.
