Documentary film director Bruce Sinofsky has died after a battle with diabetes. He was 58.
Frequent collaborator Joe Berlinger confirmed the news Saturday on Twitter. “Great man, sad day,” Berlinger wrote.
Sinofsky and Berlinger co-directed the Paradise Lost trilogy, centered on the West Memphis Three. They earned an Oscar nomination for 2011’s Paradise Lost 3: Purgatory.
The two directors, who founded production company Creative Thinking International in 1991, also directed the 2004 Metallica documentary Some Kind of Monster.
