Warner Brothers Theatre Ventures is bringing an adaptation of Stephen King’s novel Misery to Broadway and has enlisted Bruce Willis to star.
Willis will make his Broadway debut opposite Obie Award-winning actress Elizabeth Marvel in the play written by two-time Academy Award-winner William Goldman who also wrote the screenplay for the film that starred Kathy Bates in her Oscar-winning turn as Annie Wilkes.
Willis will play the housebound Paul Sheldon, who becomes a prisoner of Wilkes, who will be played by Marvel.
