Bryan Singer is back in the X-Men director’s chair.
The filmmaker has closed a deal to direct X-Men: Apocalypse, the latest X-Men tentpole that follows on the heels of this summer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
Singer’s involvement was a question mark due to allegations of sex abuse, filed just weeks before Days of Future Past’s opening. That put his involvement up in the air as the scandal played out. In August, Singer’s accuser, Michael Egan, withdrew his lawsuit.
