The Cannes Film Festival has unveiled the jury for this year’s festival and, as is typical for the world’s most prestigious film fest, it is a mix of A-list stars and hot tip up-and-comers.
Definitely in the first category are actors Jake Gyllenhaal and Sienna Miller who, together with Cannes jury presidents Joel and Ethan Coen form the American contingent on this year’s jury.
French star Sophie Marceau, whose credits include playing a princess to Mel Gibson’s Braveheart and both Bond girl and Bond villain in The World is Not Enough (1999), will be the sole French member of this year’s jury.
