In the clever interactive lyric video for Cee Lo Green’s new single “Robin Williams,” the song’s lyrics are typed rapid-fire into Google, with each word generating an avalanche of different results as the letters are punched into the search bar. Watching on the Shopping tab, for instance, yields bizarre results, like a T-shirt featuring “Carl Sagan riding a dinosaur with nunchucks,” a book of Nietzsche and, given the song title, much memorabilia featuring Batman’s sidekick Robin; in the case of Google Video, “Robin Williams” becomes an almost-unofficial stop-motion clip featuring footage from past Cee Lo videos.
