Five slices of cake from some of the most well-known Royal weddings of the last 40 years are set to go under the hammer – including one from each of Prince Charles’s weddings.
A slice of fruit cake from the wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana in 1981 is set to fetch up to £1,300 when it is sold at the end of this month.
A similar slice fom his 2005 nuptials to Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, is only estimated to fetch £390.
A slice of brandy-infused fruit cake from his son’s wedding, is expected to sell for only slightly more, at £520.
