Charlize Theron has sparked angry responses after she compared the press intruding on her private life to being raped. The South Africa-born actress said during a press conference in Britain on Friday that “every aspect” of her life has become “fodder” for a brand of journalism that exists “in a dark room,” reported Sky News in the U.K. Theron said “I don’t Google myself and that’s my saving grace. When you start living in that world, and doing that, you start feeling raped. Some people might relish in all that stuff but there are certain things in my life that I think of as very sacred and I am very protective over them.”
