Chinx, a Queens, New York rapper and member of the French Montana-affiliated Coke Boys, died Saturday night in a drive-by shooting in Queens. Chinx, born Lionel Pickens, was 31. “We are very sadden at the loss of our brother Chinx. Please keep his family & friends in your prayers,” the Coke Boys’ official Facebook wrote Sunday. Chinx rose to prominence among rap fans for his role on the popular mixtape series Coke Boys and Cocaine Riot as well as his 2014 breakout single “Bodies.”
