Chris Kattan received a police escort out of an airport in Phoenix, Ariz., on Sunday after his nervous behavior prevented him from boarding a flight.
The former “Saturday Night Live” actor raised concerns among Southwest Airlines staff members after he was spotted mumbling and walking around the gate at Sky Harbor Airport.
Airport police were called to remove Kattan, who told officers he was still struggling with the after-effects of taking the sedative Ambien earlier in the day.
TMZ.com reports he was taken to a nearby hotel to take a nap and was subsequently allowed back in the terminal to catch a later flight back home to Los Angeles.
Kattan hit headlines last year when he was sentenced to three years’ probation for crashing his car while under the influence of the sleeping pill, hours after he displayed erratic behavior on a mid-air flight and had to be escorted off.
