Do you ever wonder how actors deliver such genuine reactions to monsters, or in this case dinosaurs, that aren’t really there? Conan host Conan O’Brien does, too. Although Conan clearly hadn’t seen Jurassic World when asking the question about Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady character being attacked by a pterodon because if he had, he’d know it was on top Pratt while he lay on his back. Anyway, Pratt had quite the story for how those dinosaurs come to be on the big screen. After the bout with the dinosaur, the script called for Pratt to toss the dino aside. The actor explained, “I throw the thing down and it’s dead. So, I throw him…and I chucked him…and he smashed his head,” Pratt let on. “His head hits really hard. His job was to just lay there still like he was dead and the whole scene I was like, ‘Yeah, I just killed Marty. I think I killed Marty.'”
