A Magnetic Zero wrestles with faith and doubt, with help from Marcus Mumford
On his first solo outing, Christian Letts — the guitarist for Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros — dials down his main band’s cheery campfire sing-alongs and opts for something much more contemplative. Letts spends most of the LP either wrestling with looming inner demons or basking in love and sunshine; there’s little in between.
