Hollywood A-listers such as George Clooney, Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep turn up at a charity event for one of their own. Actor Paul Newman died in 2008, but his legacy lives on through his affiliation the ‘SeriousFun Children’s Network’. It sends children with illnesses from more than 50 countries to camp and the program is free not only to the children but their families as well. And his former colleagues say it’s an example of celebrities using their status to do good.
