It’s not every day that you get to see Coldplay’s lead singer performing a random jam in a small, ecstatic bar.
On Wednesday night people at the Summer House Cafe in Delhi had that experience, as Chris Martin played a set alongside Playback singer Vishal Dadlani and actress Frieda Pinto.
According to Dadlani’s Twitter, Martin and Pinto had been in town to support Global Citizen (an international anti-poverty organziation, which runs a festival Martin curates). They were having dinner together when Martin said: “let’s go play somewhere” – the group then turned up at the Summer House Cafe and played the impromptu gig in front of an excitable Delhi crowd.
