Hannibal Buress has just added another Comedy Central series to his resume. The Broad City actor and Emmy-nominated comic has landed his own eight-episode series order for Why? With Hannibal Buress. The half-hour entry, which will be shot in front of a studio audience, is expected to provide Buress’ unique perspective on each week’s zeitgeist-y topic, answering burning questions on his mind through stand-up, filmed segments, man-on-the-street interviews and special in-studio guests. Late last year, Buress was thrust into the spotlight when his comedic rant about Bill Cosby, which was filmed on a smartphone during a gig and posted on YouTube, set off the firestorm that is still raging.
