Jeff and Some Aliens is taking off at Comedy Central. A spinoff of a segment featured on the series TripTank, the project has been picked up to series, the network announced Wednesday.
From creators Sean Donnelly and Alessandro Minoli, Jeff and Some Aliens centers on Jeff (voiced by Married’s Brett Gelman) and three extraterrestrials sent to Earth to study him to determine whether or not humanity should be destroyed. They constantly throw Jeff’s mundane life into chaos – particularly when they make him participate in grueling intergalatic decathalons or perform Azurian honor killings to restore interstellar balance.
