Wyatt Cenac is moving from The Daily Show to TBS.
The Hollywood Reporter has learned that the former Daily Show writer and correspondent has been tapped to topline the Turner-owned cable network’s comedy pilot The Group.
The Group revolves around a support group for people who think they have been abducted by aliens. The group is the subject of a snarky feature piece by skeptical journalist Wyatt Jones, but the more he digs into the oddballs’ claims, the more confused, intrigued and seduced he becomes.
