Jamie Dornan read passages of Fifty Shades of Grey using different accents on The Tonight Show Monday, and the next night, his co-star Dakota Johnson tried to prove that “anything can be sexy.”
Dakota, 25, warmed up by doing her “sexy stretches” as host Jimmy Fallon, 40, explained the rules to the audience. Each player would pick a card from a pile at random, then turn to the camera and read whatever’s written on it using their sexiest voice possible. The comedian said, “Here’s the deal: all the sentences on this card are very unsexy. So it’s up to us to make them sound sexy. Are you ready for this?”
Jimmy went first. Reading the card, he asked, “I want to go fishing this afternoon. Do you know where I can buy grubs or worms?” After delivering his line, he asked, “What do you think about that? Pretty sexy.”
When Dakota gave it a go, she read, “Excuse me while I go slip into a pair of old sweatpants.”
