New Girl star Damon Wayans Jr . is in talks to join New Line’s romantic comedy How to Be Single . Christian Ditter will helm the film, which is based on the novel of the same name by Liz Tuccillo , published by Atria in 2008. Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein wrote the original draft, and Dana Fox worked on the current draft. It was recently announced that Wayans will exit Fox’s comedy series New Girl after the current fourth season.
