Marin County authorities said actor Robin Williams’ death has been officially ruled a suicide. The 63-year-old Williams, whose body was found at his home in Tiburon in the San Francisco Bay area, on Aug. 11, died of asphyxia due to hanging, the Marin County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement. Police had said soon after his body was discovered that they suspected his death was a suicide.
