Comedy Central says Sept. 28th will be opening night for Trevor Noah as the new host of “The Daily Show.” The 31-year-old South African comedian will be stepping into the job which has been held by Jon Stewart since 1999. Stewart will be leaving the show on August 6th. The show will then go on hiatus until the arrival of Noah. Noah’s selection to take over the popular satirical newscast was announced by the network in March.
