Fresh off performing at this month’s DigiFest, Demi Lovato is the latest celebrity to make the leap into mobile gaming.
This summer, Pocket Gems will develop and release Lovato’s “Skyscraper” animated game — featuring her cuddly dog Buddy — as part of its interactive storytelling platform, Episode. At first glance the game looks similar to Kim Kardashian’s mobile game from 2014, which opened the door for more stars to create games.
Britney Spears and Katy Perry, as well as Kardashian’s sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner, all have games in development following the explosive commercial success of Kim Kardashian: Hollywood.
